Currently, we are spending a few days at a resort just a few miles away from the location of the 1st World’s Best Roadschool Convention in Tuscon, AZ that we will be taking part in as presenters and vendors. It is going to be a fun time of getting together with other families that are also full time RVers, but also be able to connect in the area of living and learning on the road. We are very excited about this opportunity to share about My Homeschool Transcripts and equally excited to learn from others that are on the same journey.
The festivities have actually already started with some great field trips in the Tuscon area. One in particular we are hoping to attend is the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. We have heard great things and hope to share it with our roadschool friends! There are many more things to do in this great city and we can’t wait to embrace them all!
So, in a few days we will pull out of one campground and make our way to another to share in a fun filled time of connection and learning!
Some highlights that we are looking forward to:
- Presenting on the subject of removing fear from record keeping and creating transcripts
- Sharing our product with other home educators
- Taking part in a round table discussion about unschooling
- Connecting with old and new friends
- Lots of great activities for the kids
- Lots of great speakers to glean from
- Campfires, food and fellowship!
Be sure to check out the link for the convention and see the great events happening! It is going to be a blast!
Wish we could have made it to the convention this year, it sounds like it would have been a lot of fun. If they make this an annual event, I will defiantly plan to be there next time. Btw, I wanted to share with you, that I have included your blog as part of our blog roll at our facebook site~Roadschooling – Families Homeschooling on the Road group.
